The lighting of a unity candle is a relatively recent addition to the traditional wedding ceremony.  The lighting ceremony may be accompanied by special music, an explanation of the symbolism, or just some period of mutual gazing by the happy couple.  The unity candle is symbolic of the joining together of your lives, becoming one in commitment.  Unfortunately, the ceremony occurs so quickly (approximately 45 seconds), therefore it makes it very difficult to play a song, however, we recommend a classical piece, i.e. Kenny G – Wedding Song, which can be faded out easily. If you should decide to play a whole song that will be great too.
